300HR Yoga Teacher Training Online Edition
Accelerated Schedule Edition
Jules Mitchell’s 300 hour advanced yoga teacher training is ideal for those who have an interest in biomechanics, principles of exercise science, applications of pain science, neurophysiology, and stretching.
Module 1: March 5 – March 19, 2022
Module 2: May 14 – May 28, 2022.
Jules Mitchell’s 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training includes 2 required online modules, homework before and after the modules, select bonus online lectures, and an elective module with a South Asian/Desi teacher. Online modules can be conveniently streamed from anywhere in the world. Real-time participation is expected.
Content is heavy on biomechanics, principles of exercise science, applications of pain science, neurophysiology, and stretching. These themes are combined with somatics, motor control theory, pose analysis and purpose, use of props for specific adaptations, pathology, restorative yoga, and intentional sequencing. Participants will learn to read original research papers and analyze them for both their strengths and their biases. Critical thinking and intellectual discourse are central components in this training, which was designed to help teachers navigate through contradictory perspectives and empower them with education.

Elective Module 3
Indigenous Teacher Self-Study
Not Included in Tuition
Learn biomechanics, pain science, and somatic movements from leaders in their respective fields. Learn to apply this knowledge to group yoga classes and private sessions alike.
General schedule for Modules 1 and 2 includes three online livestream sessions per day with 90-minute breaks in between. The weekend in the middle is off. You will be expected to participate in breakout rooms and present a group project at the end of each module. If you reside in a time zone where joining either the first or last session of each day is difficult but you are able to catch the recording within the following 24 hours, we can work with you.
Module 3 is a self-selected program designed to round out your personal yoga education. You may choose from a lecture series, a webinar, weekend course, or something more involved, as long as it is created and presented by an indigenous teacher. Topic should support any areas in which your continued education and previous experience is lacking. Previous participants have chosen topics such as yoga philosophy, yoga therapy, pranayama, cultural appropriation, social justice, and marketing. In the first module, together we will create a database of qualifying coursework, so start researching teachers and their work that wish you to share with the cohort. Jules will approve submissions and work with individually to help you choose a program from this database that is right for you.

“The depth of knowledge and experience Jules has and the way she shares and integrates the experience so it is thorough, enlightening and transformative.”
“Everything. The time Jules put in to make it a valuable online experience and a manageable one given how new this way of learning was for so many. The amazing learning/explanations, quality of materials, break outs, consideration of different ways of learning, the actual classes, the case studies, the homework, the reading lists, the guest teachers, Chelsea and Marla’s support, professional to the end. Heartfelt thanks, keep doing what you’re doing, it makes a huge difference.”
“I learned SO MUCH. I have a much more clear and and comprehensive understanding of the body. I recently got a new yoga anatomy book and I’m finding it so easy to read…. and am able to pick out the dubious claims haha! I really appreciated the time between modules to digest, kinda wish we had a third module! I loved all of the different voices. I learned so much from everyone. You did a fantastic job with all of the tech stuff, too. Honestly, the extra work you had to do to run this training is insane.”
